Harbor Services Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harbor Rail Services of California, Inc. Harbor has been performing a myriad of services for the Railroad Industry for over twenty five years. Over the years we have demonstrated to our customers our ability to mobilize and manage crews working in multiple locations.

Our experience and services include:

  • Installing and reconditioning floors on mechanical cars

  • Repairing a variety of rail cars at our Van Nuys and Tracy repair shops

Harbor Services Company, is one of the largest contractors maintaining Refrigerated Mechanical fleets for UPFE and BNSF.

We install and recondition floors, pre-trip mechanical and multi-level cars, perform locomotive repairs and service and perform Manufacturer’s Warranty Campaigns.

Our locomotive shop and personnel are capable of providing all types of repairs and scheduled maintenance.

Our vehicles are equipped to provide mobile locomotive service and repairs. Harbor provides Car Department services for short line railroads and class 1 railroads, clean and repair a variety of rail cars at our repair facilities. Personnel are on call twenty-four hours a day to assist with emergency service calls.
