M.D. (Mike) Stolzman – Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Stolzman started his railroad career in 1994 as an Operations Officer at Chicago Northwestern in Iowa. When Union Pacific merged with CNW, Mr. Stolzman became a Manager of Train Operations, supervising crews in Bloomington and Beaumont, TX, and then Assistant Terminal Superintendent of Houston-Englewood yard in 1997. Promoted to Director of Transportation at the newly created Spring Joint Command Center, he led the dispatching operation for the entire Southern Region.

In 1998, Mr. Stolzman held positions as Terminal Superintendent of the Avondale yard, Director of Road Operations in Livonia, and Director of Terminal Operations at Livonia Hump Yard.

In 2000, Mr. Stolzman decided to develop his career at a major Class 1 railroad as the Vice President of U.S. Operations - Industrial Switching for the Canadian National Railroad (CN). There, he oversaw multiple switching, mechanical and track repair operations throughout North America until 2005.

Among his recent accomplishments, Mr. Stolzman was the President of Pacific Harbor Line (PHL), the President of Louisville & Indiana Railroad (LIRC), and CEO of COLO Railroad Builders.

Additionally, Mr. Stolzman holds a Bachelors’ Degree from Texas State University and a Masters’ Degree from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He also served in the U.S. Army as an Artillery Officer during Desert Storm receiving the Bronze Star.
